Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park: Deploying phase III, the technical component GIZ.
On April 2nd 2014, the Management Board of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park has a meeting with Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Management unit of Phong Nha - Ke Bang region project, project consulting unit - AHT Office to exchange cooperative mechanism in implementing the operational plan Phase 3 of Phong Nha - Ke Bang region project – The technical component GIZ.
The main discussion of the meeting was “Workshop on developing a roadmap and action plan for the period 2014-2015 and vision to 2020” in transboundary cooperation between Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and Hin Nam No Protected Areas that based on the MoU between Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee and Khammouane provincial government dated on November 16th 2012.
At the meeting both sides not only agreed on the role and responsibility in the process of implementing activities but also discussed, supplemented, amended and agreed to organize a workshop in the mid of May 2014. On April 10th advisory team will finalize plans for management board of the Park and GIZ Office to conduct the next steps.
