The theme in 2016 “Water and jobs” emphasize the bidirectional relations between water and jobs aim to ensure water security and economic development - sustainable society. Water plays an important role for creating life of all creatures. We’re exposed to water everyday and use it for many different purposes. Taking care of clean water and environmental sanitation activities to avoid gastrointestinal tract, skin diseases are very important, because environment attached to human life.
In the context of global climate change, Vietnam is one of countries which is suffered the serious consequences. Water is an extremely valuable resource.
Responding to World Water Day 2016, aims to raise awareness of the community, government on the role of water in jobs and livelihoods. It’s also an opportunity for policy makers, managers, businesses, communities share innovations, models and practical solutions to solve water issues and jobs./.
