Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park: Son Doong - The largest cave in the world will continiously beconquered in 2017
People’s Committee of Quang Binh Province allows the Oxalis Limited Company continue to exploit the tour "Conquering Son Doong - the world's largest cave," from 1 May, 2017 to August, 2017, simultaneously requests Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park Management Board corporates with Oxalis Limited Company to ensure the sustainable tourism exploitation, not disrupt the natural landscape and impact on the environment, in accordance with sustainable tourism development plan in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park area.
According to Oxalis Company’s data, in 2016, this company has effectively exploited the tour "Conquering Son Doong - the world's largest cave." In 2016, Oxalis company welcome 442 visitors, contributing 32 billion for total revenue . There have been about 1,300 visitors successfully conquering Son Doong since the opening untill now.
This tour was widely advertised on the major foreign newspapers such as National Georaphic Magazine, New York Times, Google Adwords, Tripadvisors... and the leading magazines in Vietnam, especially through "Good Morning America" program, organizing Son Dong Cave conquests for ambassadors of Britain, Australia, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic....in 2016, contributing to promote effectively Quang Binh tourism, attract more and more visitors to visit and explore the global outstanding value of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Heritage site.
In this August, Oxalis Company will open tour and limit the number of visitors conquering Son Dong Cave. The number of visitors conquering Son Dong Cave in 2017 will be 500 people.
