The first international flight of Quang Binh: Dong Hoi-Chiang Mai
To expand the international tourism market and promote the attraction of Chiang Mai’s tourists and and the northern provinces of Thailand to Quang Binh in particular and Vietnam in general, Quang Binh provincial People's Committee has supported and co-operated with Jetstar Pacific Airlines to launch international flights from Dong Hoi to Chiang Mai. Until this moment, it’s the first international flight of Quang Binh and the only direct flight from Vietnam to Chiang Mai (Thailand)
With two flight per week on Mondays and Fridays by Airbus A320 with 180 class seats, it takes one hour 40 minutes for flight from Dong Hoi airport (Quang Binh) to Chiang Mai (Thailand), at the price 410,000 VND/leg (excluding taxes, fees and promotional tickets). Flight schedule on Monday of Dong Hoi – Chiang Mai is at 14h35 and return at 17h25. Flight schedule on Friday of Dong Hoi - Chiang Mai is at 15h05 and return at 18h00.
Opening the first international flight of Dong Hoi-Chiang Mai not only facilitates the travel of both Vietnam and Thailand, but also attracts international visitors from Thailand to Quang Binh, especially visit in the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park./.
